Batches & checkpoints

This is where actions are made permanent. Actions are gathered into **batches**; each batch is proved and written to the blockchain, so anyone can confirm what happened without taking our word for it. Batches are then gathered into **checkpoints**, which stand in for long stretches of history at once. Use these endpoints to follow an action all the way to the chain: which batch carried it, what was recorded, and which transaction to look up in a block explorer. The statistics endpoints summarize throughput, pipeline status and finalization time for dashboards without requiring every batch to be downloaded first. Everything in this section is open to everyone and read-only.
